Tamela Todd
Through transparency, I have been able to inspire others to recognize the value of their testimony. As a passionate mental health awareness advocate, I shun the stereotypes and stigmas surrounding mental health. I understand the effects of physical, emotional, and mental trauma. With this goal in mind, I have spoken at self-care workshops and at events such as the Detroit Startup Week, delivering advice while challenging others to process uncomfortable life situations.
As the founder and executive director of Brown Girls Read Book Club, my love for reading aims to shape future leaders. My organization promotes literacy and life skills with interactive activities for the members. |
